Stronghold placed in four different categories of Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) 2024 Top Performers. These distinctions are meant to recognize organizations that strive to achieve excellence in construction. Stronghold’s UCR Solar Roof Initiative in Riverside, California, which received the ABC National Excellence in Construction Award, is pictured on page 42 of the report!
These distinctions highlight contractors that were awarded National Excellence in Construction, Safety Excellence, and Diversity Excellence awards in 2023, in addition to those that hold designations awarded to diverse companies to help procure work from government and private entities.
Stronghold demonstrated world-class safety performance by obtaining Platinum level in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System in 2023. They placed on ABC’s lists for the Top 250 Performers, Top 150 General Contractors, the Top Performers With Special Designations, and Top 20 Military Contractors. Stronghold is also a designated Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) through ABC’s program that assesses the company’s quality workmanship.
Top 250 Performers
Stronghold placed #112 on the list of top 250 Performers in the nation, ranks as the #2 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and #3 Women Business Enterprise (WBE) in the nation, and is the #1 MBE/WBE in the nation.
Top 150 General Contractors
Stronghold placed #55 in the list of Top 150 General Contractors in the nation, is the #1 WBE in the nation, the #2 MBE in the nation, and the #1 MBE/WBE in the nation.
Top Performers with Special Designations
Stronghold was listed #10 of 100 for the Top Performers with Special Designations in the nation, the #2 MBE in the nation, the #5 WBE in the nation, and the #1 MBE/WBE in the nation.
Stronghold also ranked as #17 of 20 Top Military Contractors.
