On Friday, December 8th, representatives from Stronghold Engineering delivered Christmas presents for the Blindness Support Services 2017 Children’s Department Christmas Party. Stronghold sponsored each child at Blindness Support Services by providing them with a gift specially selected for each child. The annual Christmas Party featured interactive games, a reading area, a fruit guessing game, a hand-held musical instrument play-along with carols, and pictures with Santa Claus. The children, ranging in age from infants to five years old, “earned” prizes in the form of hand puppets, stuffed animals, fruit in a stocking, and popcorn for visiting each station, and a catered lunch was provided for the children and their families. A party for older children was held on Saturday the 9th.
