In January 2012, Stronghold broke ground on the North Campus Faculty Housing Phase II Development Project for UCSB’s North Campus complex in Goleta, CA. This ground up $18.5 million dollar design/bid/build project consists of 23 buildings totaling 92,436 square feet with site development of 25 acres. It will be a beautiful new development, which will include new streets and infrastructure for the buildings as well as site development for future use of 50 additional building pads. The housing complex will consist of seven single-family residences, 15 duplex units, and a recreation center with swimming pool and spa. All of this is nestled within a coastal enclave surrounded by a golf course and environmentally sensitive native habitat areas with direct coastal access to local Goleta beaches.
