San Diego, California Cost: $14 Million Project Type: New Construction / Renovation Status: Under Construction Although airport work is not new to Stronghold, a new client for Stronghold is the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. Stronghold was awarded a $14 Million dollar new construction contract to expand East Terminal Two at the San Diego International Airport. This project entails replacing two (2) passenger boarding prides and renovating the existing 33,000 square foot terminal and then adding new construction of two (2) additional passenger boarding bridges and an additional 12,000 foot of building pace. The new building will include the construction of new holding areas, waiting rooms and restrooms, while the existing building renovation will provide new finishes to include; new carpet, paint, acoustical ceilings and upgrades to enhance the terminals lighting and providing new lighting controls. Once complete, this terminal will be used by multiple airlines for both domestic and international travel.
