Each year Stronghold assists the United Way with their Day of Caring. Teams spread across the Riverside County to do community service project at non-profit agencies. Last year Stronghold aid in the cleanup of Riverside’s Fairmont Park, which is located across the street from Stronghold’s corporate office.
On September 11, 2010, Stronghold’s community project was to assist Operation School Bell at the Assistance League of Riverside. Our Team members worked together with the United Way and other volunteers to package hygiene kits. With team work, we managed to complete over 800 hygiene kits. These kits will be provided to children for use over seven (7) local school districts as well as the California School for the Deaf. It was a day of team building and community activism – it was a Day of Caring.
