Stronghold was awarded this $7 million contract to provide electrical services in the Arts and Humanities Building at San Diego City College. Working hand-in-hand with Construction Manager Turner Construction, Stronghold was a part of the team that constructed the 128,000 sf educational facility which houses visual arts, English, foreign language and world cultures among other programs at the San Diego City College. The facility also includes classrooms, a lecture hall, computer labs and an art studio for drawing, ceramics, sculpture and graphics. There is a 99-seat theater, dressing rooms and other offices for faculty and support staff. Not to mention a new parking area, kiln yard and sculpture garden.

Partnering with Turner, Stronghold utilized Building Information Modeling (BIM) on this project, which allowed each contractor to input their own materials and workflow into a 3D model.
