Phase II involved the design and installation of two urgent minor construction projects and two special projects. Stronghold renovated the existing Mobile Security Squadron Operations Facility, and provided a new pre-engineered building for an Operations facility and a new Inshore Boat Unit (IBU) 53, Operations / Administration Facility providing a new PEB.
The special projects included the consolidation, addition and repairs to Room 10-06 of Building 189 (4,491 sf) and Room 12-06 in Consolidated Boat and Vehicle Maintenance Facility (6,400 sf); the demolition, fencing, concrete repairs, insulation, doors, frames, hardware, framing and drywall, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling, flooring, painting, toilet accessories, metal lockers, casework, fire sprinkler system, rough-in plumbing, plumbing fixtures, rough-in ductwork, set and connect equipment, controls, test and startup system, electrical rough-in, light fixtures, switchgear, electrical finish, and fire alarm in Building 156; the insulation in Building 184; and the earthwork, underground utilities, concrete repairs, and pre-fab metal building in Building 189.
