Chino Hills Government Center

This multi-prime project involved the construction of four (4) new buildings at the Chino Hills Government Center located in Chino Hills, California under the construction management of Barnhart. The Government Center buildings were completed in phases on a 133,000 sq. ft. across a ten acre campus.

The buildings included: a new 2-story, 58,900 sq. ft. City Hall Building, a single-story, 28,250 sq. ft. James S. Thalman Library, a single-story 29,750 sq. ft. Chino Hills Police Department, and a 16,500 sq. ft. Chino Valley Independent Fire District Administration Headquarters Building.

The scope of work included ground up construction with the installation of a 1000 kW diesel generator at the Fire Administration building, and a 250 kW diesel generator at the Police Department. There were roughly 2,100 light fixtures installed throughout the four (4) buildings with elaborate, state of the art lighting controls systems. Also installed were a new fire alarm system, paging system, CCTV system, access control panels, an Aiphone, a security system, and audio visual speakers. On this multi prime project Stronghold was responsible for coordination with all trades to assure schedule compliance.
