Cost: $7.6 Million
Stronghold Engineering, Inc. served as the subcontractor for this $7.6 million project to reconstruct Runway 26R at Ontario International Airport in Ontario California. The contract called for extensive taxiway improvements for the Airbus 380.

The north lighting vault, which controls all lighting throughout the airport, is now operational. More than 2,000 lights, 250,000 ft of wiring and 100,000 ft of conduit will be installed; in addition, more than 10,000 sq ft of existing asphalt will be removed and replaced, along with signs and other facilities.
