Stronghold also completed new landscaping, parking, and street improvements including curb, gutter, sidewalks, and paving modifications.
The facility opened in style with a family friendly event on Saturday, October 27, 2012. The event featured a wide arrange of educational and entertaining booths from favorite characters meet-n-greets and face painting to giant snake petting and book giveaways. Stronghold sponsored the refreshment table and served donuts, coffee, and juice to the crowd of over 200 reading enthusiasts.
