Yogi - Safety Employee of the 2nd Quarter 2008
Stronghold Engineering, Inc. was pleased to present Yogi, Foreman Carpenter, with our Safety Employee of the 2nd Quarter Award. Yogi has been working safely with Stronghold since 1999. Yogi’s proactive stance on safety has aided him in supervising over 25,000 man-hours, with zero lost time accidents, on the Comprehensive Seismic & Life Safety Renovations, Floors 1-8, Project in the Federal Building located in downtown Los Angeles. Yogi’s ability to manage a safe work environment on this large and complex project has earned him this award and we are proud to honor him with it.

Curt - Safety Employee of the 1st Quarter 2008
We are pleased and honored to select Curt as Safety Employee of the 1st Quarter 2008. Curt's work with high voltage electricity is always a safety challenge. Curt has continued to demonstrate his ability to complete specialized high voltage work by safely completing project after project.


Curt's attention to safety and his ability to effectively communicate safety plans to those involved in each project is what helps Curt continuously achieve outstanding safety performance.

Robert - Safety Employee of the 4th Quarter 2007
Robert was selected as Safety Employee of the 4th Quarter 2007 for his outstanding safety performance on every job, on every level at every opportunity. Robert serves on Stronghold’s Safety Committee, which he has been a part of since its implementation. As an Electrical Foreman, Robert has always been a safety advocate, ensuring that Stronghold employees are following proper safety measures and procedures on every job site. Robert has also been very involved in developing Stronghold’s Forklift Certification Training Program, which was established to ensure that all field employees are forklift certified.

Robert has been working safely for Stronghold for over 10 years and his outstanding safety efforts over these past 10 plus years have not gone unnoticed.

Alain - Safety Employee of the 3rd Quarter 2007
Alain has been working safely for Stronghold for over 10 years. Alain is an employee who is always on top of his safety training and who ensures all employees are working safely and following Stronghold safety policies and procedures on site, at all times. Alain has been Stronghold’s designated Safety Officer for numerous different job sites and Alain’s commitment to safety has been demonstrated in his accident free projects and his own perfect safety record.

Keith - Safety Employee of the 2nd Quarter 2007
Keith was nominated for Safety Employee of the Quarter for his outstanding safety efforts on one of our fast track projects for the United States Postal Service in San Bernardino. The United States Postal Service Project was a job with a high potential for falls to occur. Employees were working off 35’ manlifts and working overtime to complete the new Postal Annex within six weeks. As Foreman of the United States Postal Service Project, Keith kept safety on his mind as he worked to ensure that his crew was constantly aware of the risk of fall and making sure that employees were always wearing their fall protection equipment.

Keith's good safety judgment, and his consistent and continuous safety efforts, makes Keith an outstanding Safety Employee of the Quarter. Scott Bailey and the Stronghold Safety Committee were proud to present Keith with his award for Safety Employee of the 2nd Quarter 2007.

Eric - Safety Employee of the 1st Quarter 2007
Eric was named Safety Employee of the 1st Quarter 2007. Eric has been working safety for Stronghold since January of 2002. Eric’s proactive safety measures on site have kept him working safely and accident free for the last 5 years. Eric was selected as Safety Employee of the Quarter for his diligence in always inspecting equipment before using it, always follow safe practices on site and setting a good safety example for others.

Che - Safety Employee of the 4th Quarter 2006
Che was nominated by his Foreman, Curtis, for Safety Employee of the 4th Quarter. Che started working for Stronghold as a Journeyman Electrician in June of 2004 and is currently working at the UCR Commons Project. Che was nominated for Safety Employee of the 4th Quarter for his consistent safe work efforts and his proactive safety attitude. Che has gone above and beyond Strongholds' normal safe practices, by not only working safely and attending all safety meetings, but also volunteering to read and discuss weekly safety tool box topics. Congratulations Che on an outstanding effort of safety awareness!

Rocky - Safety Employee of the 3rd Quarter 2006
Rocky was selected as Stronghold's Safety Employee of the 3rd Quarter 2006. Rocky has worked safely with Stronghold since 1997. Since Rocky's start with Stronghold, he has never been involved in a safety accident. Rocky was nominated for Safety Employee of the Quarter by Mike King for his outstanding safety performance on the United States Postal Service project in San Diego. The United States Postal project is a large gear change-out project, where Stronghold employees need to be reminded daily of the potential shock hazards onsite. Under Rocky's leadership the crew worked safely on multiple outaps. The Safety Committee was impressed with Rocky's display of safety awareness on-site and his outstanding safety record.

Miguel - Safety Employee of the 2nd Quarter 2006
Miguel has been a valuable member of Team Stronghold for nearly ten years, and in that time he has never been a safety violator, never had a recordable accident or had any lost or restricted work days. Miguel established this impressive safety record while working on some of the most demanding projects that Stronghold has undertaken to date.

Miguel is a man of quiet resolve, a man who speaks through his actions rather than words. He is a fusion of work ethic and safe practices, and that makes him one of the most sought-after and valuable members of Team Stronghold. The entire crew of the Ontario Airport Project is proud to nominate Miguel as the "Safety Employee of the Quarter."

Mike - Safety Employee of the 1st Quarter 2006
Michael has work for Stronghold since 1996. During these last 10 years, Mike has held an outstanding safety record. Mike has always been able to communicate job safety requirements to his crew, ensuring a safe and productive worksite. Mike's ability to pay close attention to his surroundings and his ability to direct the work of others have helped him to achieve his safety record of no accidents, no lost time and no safety violations. It is because of this attitude and safety record that Mike was unanimously voted Stronghold's Safety Employee for the 1st quarter of 2006.
